Vortex Cold Storage, LLC broke ground on its 170,000 square foot, food-safe cold storage warehouse in Albert Lea, Minn. The facility is being built in the Freeborn Mower Electric Cooperative service territory. Strategically located at the intersection of Interstates 90 and 35, the facility will provide state-of the-art temperature controlled Safe Quality Food Certified storage as well as customizable warehouse services.
