Dairyland Power Cooperative's Board of Directors approved a $200,000 loan from its USDA Rural Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund to White Haus Holding, LLC. This loan, in addition to a $200,000 revolving loan from Allamakee-Clayton Electric Cooperative (Postville, Iowa), will be used to construct and furnish a new event venue, White Haus Social, in Waukon, Iowa. When complete, the facility will provide an elegant location for year-round events. It will have 3 full-time and several part-time employees.
