Certified in Wisconsin is a program offered by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) to make development-ready sites more appealing to businesses. They give sites this special certification after they passed detailed checks on environmental safety, soil conditions, utilities, zoning laws and property ownership. This approval means businesses can start building right away without waiting for lengthy reviews.
